This installation at the US Green Building Council show celebrates the ongoing environmental stewardship by Shaw Contract Group for the commercial interiors industry. We gave new life/energy to a former tradeshow structure.

Commercial flooring company Shaw Contract Group believes that design is connected in every way, shape and form. The 2013 NeoCon Showroom exemplifies this with three carpet collection launches congruently installed throughout the space. Hexagon, a six-sided carpet tile which reflects the cultural shift toward collaborative partnerships. Beyond the Fold, an 18x36 carpet tile inspired by transformative origami folds. And in the annex, Collide, a radical exploration of opposing forces.
Hexagonal lines across walls, signs and ceilings draw you through the space. On the walls, backlit campaign photography juxtaposes product installations with inspiration images. Strategically scattered seating and Hexagon tile groupings form social hives and instill a sense of community.

When Shaw Contract Group came to us with their revolutionary take on a color forecast, we couldn’t wait to bring it to life. The approach tracks a cultural evolution through six conflicted personas and interprets them into color trends. The resulting calendar, contest, website and holiday card campaign extensions portray a new world of possibilities, emblazoned with color.
